What we collect
When you use the contact form and tick the box to say you're happy for us to keep your details, we store:
Your name and email address
The message you send us
The date and time you sent it
Your IP address and browser information, for security and to help stop spam
We only store this if you tick the consent box. If you don't tick it, the form won't submit.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one reason: to reply to your enquiry. We don't use them for marketing, and we don't sell or share them with anyone except as described below.
Who else sees it
Migadu, our email provider, delivers your message to our inbox.
Cloudflare provides the spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on our contact form and sign-in page. When that check runs, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details.
Google, if you view the map on our "Visit us" page — that map is a Google Maps embed, and loading it shares data with Google under Google's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to a year, then they're deleted automatically. Anything we send ourselves to check the form is still working is deleted after 30 days.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare and Google may set their own cookies for the reasons above, under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Contact us on 01484 511806 or aspleycarpets@yahoo.co.uk.
